There's something about the color and or shape of that particular spoon that makes it think that the spoon is going to murk its shit but the cat still wants to take the risk and take the food so it is twitching Tekken style ready to dodge whatever the fuk might happen while inching towards the food

Wobbly cat syndrome (cerebellar hypoplasia)
The cat has little sense of balance or coordination, but is otherwise fine. looks healthy and happy despite everything, they're usually born with it so he probably doesn't even know he has it rough

It sucks how fragile kittens are. You do everything perfectly right, and still they end up sick and dying overnight. It never gets any easier. Just be glad that you can make it's out as comfortable as you can, it could always be dying cold and alone in the woods. That thought makes it easier to handle for me.

They have to be boomers. They legitimately have no object permanence or directional skills that a fucking retard would eventually figure out.

I adopted a 3-legged cat a few months back because like me, his left eye doesn't open all the way. He still tries to scratch himself with his missing leg, it's really obvious when he's doing it and pretty funny to watch. He got his leg amputed 2 years ago, which means he had the leg for 3 years, I don't know how long the muscle memory lasts or if it ever goes away

Human body just loves to fuck with you. Acne and other annoying health problems all stem from your body freaking out and thinking there's a problem
My cat is getting put down today. She's been on a downward trend this year (a lot of weight loss), but 3 days ago she suddenly stopped eating entirely, she's breathing heavily, and is clearly struggling.
It's been 15 years, I knew it was probably coming this year but it still feels so sudden. I love her so much.
I love you Lily, I don't want you to go. Love your cats, anons.

my darling cat is on her way out soon, i just know it. she is 17 or 18, and down to 5 lbs. she's always been insanely skinny but this is something else. she eats her idiotically expensive kidney food just fine but i'm expecting her to stop any day now. she doesn't sleep in my bed anymore, or her bed in front of the heat vent, she likes to curl up on the bathmat in front of the shower, which is somewhat alarming new behavior

im glad to hear it, i hope your heart aches forever little bitch.
Cats are the africans of domesticated animals. They act like groids, knocking shit off counters, attacking without reason, zooming around like a monkey chimping out, yowling at nothing.
Glad itβs DEAD.
Next time anons are out driving, help your community by running over a cat.

Happened to me after I moved out from family home, though it's not consistent. I could handle a cat cafe no problem, but two hours with a family siamese cat would put me out of commission for the rest of the day. I'm not sure what's the deal with that.

my dog died on november, I got a new one on march, miss her, the new one doesn't replace her, but it's also a good dog, better on some things, worse on others and I'm glad she will be on my life for many many years, everything is temporal
>>717814238 >have cat for 20 years >he dies of old age >instantly develop allergy to cat fur >get a new cat 3 years later >lose allergy
Allergies are just fucking weird

Good luck with yours, anon. Mine was also eating normally, despite the weight loss, but had noticeable changes in behaviour the past few months too.
You don't realize how much you take their constant presence for granted until its over. I'm leaving her be though, I'd rather she rest right now.
>[Robin Walker] -- Breathing. During testing, we found out that multiple playtesters had trouble breathing. At first we simply added a text on the screen reminding players to breath, but it turned out to not be enough, and after several different ideas, we had to settle for a minigame popping up on the screen every 3 seconds to teach the player the basic or inhaling and exhaling. The result lowered the deathrate of our playtester from 100% to 95%. We have yet to find a solution to them not breathing through their mouth, or at least not drool while doing so.

had to lock up my cat whenever i made peanut butter toast in college, because without fail she would jump up onto my plate, land on the toast, get pissed off about the peanut butter on her foot, and track it all over my apartment

I had a three-legged cat for around 13 years (well, he became three-legged at about 4 years old), he had the phantom scratching too, that never went away.
Tough little bastard, we were told he'd only live maybe 5 years after his surgery (extra strain on the heart) but instead he spent nearly a decade bullying other cats and living large.
>>717816321 >She's trying to use anti-gravity
I figured that only worked with buttered toast. Peanuts don't have any meaningful agrav proprieties last time I checked.
>get a male cat >absolute bro his entire life, never once bit me or scratched me (beside a few accidents while playing), well behaved in general >loved him >get a female cat >constantly an excuse to scratch or bite me, constantly asking for attention, but only when she wants otherwise push me away, regularly do shit that gets on my nerve to get my attention
Women I swear to god
>>717816885 >are cats retarded?
The fact I noticed very similar behavior and responses between my cat, and the retarded kids one of my friend take care of, yes, I do believe so.
>>717813008 >>717816885
The dumb shitskin didn't bother washing his hands after his last meal, so the cat was smelling the food aroma from the one hand but not the other. Cats trust their sense of smell over everything else.
I hope that fucker got arrested soon after the video for stressing out that poor cat.

Cats aren't born with it moron, they'd have to come into contact with another animal infected with it. If your cat is an indoor cat there is a zero percent chance of it ever catching toxoplasmosis. And even if you don't keep your cat indoors all the time, regular vet checkups will allow you to catch it quick enough.
So basically don't be a favela monkey and you don't have to worry. :)
>>717818031 >don't be a favela monkey and you don't have to worry
are you genuinely seriously implying that cats only wander outdoors in brazil? not only that, but people actually take their pet (not just cats) to the vet regularly to get their blood tested? what universe do you live in?
>>717816197
It was the opposite for me: >see cat with neurological disorder suffering, feels bad >stupid fucking nonsense ai dance takes over, lose my shit laughing
>>717816660
I had a female cat once and she was very well behaved. Liked to play, but was calm and gentle and enjoyed cuddling too. Real beautiful black and white coat. I miss her.
>>717814238 >be born >have cat and dog allergy >parents refuse to get rid of pets >alright I guess I can understand th- >they actually get more pets >miserable all the time, have to mouth breathe half the time >now adult >keep in decent shape but get winded extremely quickly and have shit lung capacity

remember dishonored testing? >guard says "you can't go upstairs" >players just accept it and don't even bother doing anything else >get stuck in the game
>>717817154
Depends. Not all behavior requires understanding. I don't think every animal that doesn't attack people understands why that's a bad idea, for instance (how could they. Not every one has tried it once, and they don't have advanced language enough to convey it to each other). Seems likelier that it's an instinct that selection favored (one inclination was more likely to lead to death before procreation than the other)
>>717817154
it's similar to ducks pretending to be wounded to lure predators away from their young; or playing dead. all mammals in general are somewhat smart. >>717819663
interesting thing is, cats also try to act casual when they fuck up a landing or slip when they know you are watching. maybe as a signal that it was no biggie and they're ok.
>>717814845 >>717814619
Lost my cat to stomach cancer. He'd stopped eating, and I still don't know if I was just a bad owner that didn't notice him getting skinnier or if it was that sudden a turn.
Still makes me cry.
