The problem is that what SHOULD be a casual party game is actually a sweat fest that requires you to learn multiple heroes and roles, thus filtering out 90% of casual gamers and comic fans.
That being said the game is still doing massive numbers and isn't going anywhere for a long time.

This is a recent change, anyone else notice? I swear you had to lose 2 or 3 times in a row before that happened before, now it's after only 1. It's really annoying cause the bot games are mind numbingly easy.

I just play vs AI. I don't know why people are bothering against people. You still get rewards for it too. That's your casual mode and even then it can get pretty intense especially if your team is also AI that for some reason plays much much worse against the other team's AI so that human players have to carry the entire team.

Rivals is the best you can hope for in terms of success, simply because hero shooters are a dead genre. They've been on the decline for years and normalfags moved on. Deadlock's eventual failure to capture Dota or Counterstrike's success will solidify this. Shooters are due for another shakeup instead of 6v6 compslop.

Deadlock's problem is being too knowledge check and moba heavy. You get CC'd 3 times in a row and can't play your character like Dota, which is why Dota never hit League's popularity
