My step-dad has been nagging me to move out and get a job. Every time I go to the kitchen he will call me the "WB" slur and insult the food I make. Just get a simple casual job answering phone calls in a call centre or doing data entry. It's easy as fuck and it will get him off your ass and you'll have cash for your game. Like most office jobs I assume. I get new contracts per mail, then check the capacities with my truck sub contractors and assign it depending on price and availability. Everything after is mainly documentation or finding out what went wrong in case of mistakes on either side. I work in a 4 man team, about 2k mails per day and about 300 orders per day. Can be stressful but rn we have a low volume.

I worked at a mcdonalds for like 2 years after NEETing in uni and it was hell. They managed to scam me out of $3k purely out of spite as well (don't want to get into it, just going to say that the UK is extremely corrupt). Eventually decided "fuck this" and dumped a couple hundred on random shitcoins back in late 2024, made a lot of money that lasted quite a while but now I only have ~$6k in savings left.

I'm a dyspraxic, mixed race (kinda, only 'pure white' was my irish grandmother. Grandfather was the product of an african from america raping my great grandmother... father was the result of a pakistani raping my paternal grandmother who then committed suicide- 1960s yorkshire) with a speech impediment so everyone assumes I'm retarded (tested IQ of 130). As a result it is very hard for me to get a job.

I have decent grades in the angloid education camps (GCSE+A levels) and a degree in mathematics but you're kind of expected to do a masters which costs money and I never went to lectures so despite having a 2:1 it's barely a 2:1. They structure it such that if you only read the lecture notes they make damn well sure you don't pass (i.e. missing critical information, releasing lecture notes only days before the exam etc.) They do this to keep their metrics up. I simply could not do it I hate being crammed in a room full of people.

If you ever been in the job market for literally anything in the UK you would know looks and accent mean everything, kind of why nothing ever gets done.

Anyways what you ACTUALLY want is some sort of online job that doesn't have set hours and considers just you being logged in and on standby as "working". No one will know or care that you're jacking off, watching anime or playing videogames on the job as long as you still get something done.

It could be anything, a babysitting job, a cashier job, whatever.
What sustains you doesn't necessarily need to align with what you enjoy. I would even say that for most people, this is usually the case.
