Skyward Sword and Sunshine are fine, Other M being a different game with a metroid flavour would be fine if not for the Samus character killing.

Star Fox Zero being good is a straight up lie, which is hilarious, because the problems that game has could be fixed by removing the forced bullshit making you use the gamepad. The fact that you can't just play without the pad, instead you have to constantly look down because the main screen reticle lies to you is one of the worst design decisions to make for an on-rails shooter.

Star Fox Zero is bad, but not offensively so. They were trying something new and it failed. I give them some credit but trying something new but honestly I think people just want Star Fox/64 again and would have been more happy with another rail shooter. They keep trying to make Star Fox evolve into something else but it really doesn't need to, rail shooters are fine.
Sunshine had the making of a good game but it was clearly rushed out to meet a deadline and as such the game is deeply flawed and feels unfinished, much like Wind Waker. Its the kind of game where it feels like all it needed was another 6-months in the oven to finish baking and polishing. This was pretty common during the GCN-era for Nintendo, a lot of their games felt they needed one final polish pass before being put out.

The game is not perfect, and definitely not the best out of the 3D Zeldas, but I think it legitimately has the best dungeons out of all 3D Zeldas by pretty much all metrics (only excluding aesthetics because personal taste can vary so much from a player to another). That point alone would make it worth playing for sure, but it also has a lot to offer if you can take the time to play it through.
I don't know if you were implying that you binged the 3D Zeldas back to back, but you shouldn't consider that to be an average experience, especially considering how much backtracking and investment Skyward Sword requires.

I've only played two of those games and I never even finished my first and only run of star fox zero. What a horrible fucking game that was.

Skyward Sword is a mixed bag. It simultaneously has some of the best bosses, moments and dungeons in the series, and also some of the absolute worst. In terms of characters, it's top tier - Fi is the only one who falls just short and even that's only because the game launched during Nintendo's safety over-conscious phase where they need to remind the player to take breaks every 10 minutes, and she's perfectly fine outside of those mandated 4th wall breaking elements. Skyloft is the only town in the series that can rival Clock Town. Make the motion controls optional, and rely less on reused content, and it would be remembered so much more fondly.

Metroid Other M is a solidly ok game with a laughable story that messes with Metroid lore too much to keep superfans happy. On one hand, the game would be better received if it was a new IP and not about Samus. On the other hand, it would be long forgotten by now if everything was the same without the Metroid coat of paint over it.

Zero is a completely unnecessary game that would have been good enough I suppose were it not ruined by an awful gimmicked control system. It's so ingrained in the Wii U design that a port would not save it. This is probably the worst of the four if only because whilst the other three offer fresh spins on the series formulas, Zero demonstrates that Nintendo have no fucking clue what to do with the series other than just repeat the N64 story or release old games. There has been nothing fresh for Star Fox released in almost 2 decades now, with the exception of Guard that released with Zero, which is a weird budget Slippy-led tower defence game that makes far better use of the Wii U controller gimmick than Zero does.

Sunshine is generally liked more than disliked. People understand the flaws of it, and some things like the Pachinko Machine are legendarily bad, but it is nowhere near as hated as others here. Being the weakest 3D Mario game isn't really a bad pile of games to be the bottom of.

They did this in the remake and it made SS far too easy. Combat is balanced around the Wiimote's input lag and the physical challenge of spamming inputs with wagglan controls. Using a Pro controller makes it trivial. The motion controls are flawed but they make the game more fun.

Skyward sword is fucking terrible. Handholding waggle garbage where you just wait for enemies to pose so you can swing the remote a specific direction. There's 3 areas that you just retread doing different unfun padding bullshit until you finally get into the equally braindead and boring dungeon. Skyward Sword is great. The only other one I played at all was Other M, but I get fed up with the cutscenes and quit.

General gameplay involves rhythmically tapping the d-pad (direction doesn't matter) to trigger context sensitive dodges which make you invulnerable and gives you a quick charge shot. It is nigh-impossible to mistime, and there's no punishment for it, anyway. There's like two enemy attacks in the entire game that this doesn't work for and you have to jump instead.
Occasionally you have to use a missile, this is done by pointing the wiimote at the screen, which puts you into first-person perspective and makes you immobile. This feels exactly as good as it sounds.
It's a brain-numbing experience, which honestly works in the game's favor to help put up with the plot.

Sunshine is the worst of the 3D Mario games. It's a 7/10 at best.
Skyward Sword was the indication that the formula they came up with in OoT was past it's prime. It came out the same week as another Fantasy RPG with 'Sky' in it's name, and that games influence could definitely be felt in BotW.
Other M is the worst Metroid. Period.
Star Fox Zero has shit controls and is frustrating to play.

Why do you think it would be an insult?
The games developed by Nintendo are mostly extremely shallow because it seeks the largest possible audience. The fact that there are people who have been playing video games for decades and still continue to play Nintendo games is exactly the same as the guy who reads a lot of books but hasn't realized that he can move on from authors like Stephen King and have a slightly more interesting and profound experience.

I don't think any of them are bad. I wasn't the biggest fan of Star Fox Zero and that's because I probably didn't give it enough time for the gameplay to click for me. I got to the credits once and never touched it again. The rest were fun. Best in their respective series? Nope, but fun none the less.
