It's not that hard, even 1-4b models can talk normally but what's the point of a conversation if there are no comsequs

Been trying gemini 2.5 and I swear you guys overstate hosted quality compared to local. In particular it felt like gemini always agreed with me while local had more pushback. Gemini did feel much better than deepseek though

It's been years since I've tried local but having a much intelligent LLM with much more knowledge, better character consistency, and faster gens are simply too good not to take for me.
About gemini, it's still kinda retarded and doesn't stay in character that well. What it's good as is being less filtered as long as you jailbreak it properly, though of course I doubt you have any problems with that when using local.
If you don't want it to agree with you, you can always just ooc it. I understand if it removes the immersion for you, but it's an option just in case.
