Ice and snow can be some of the most beautiful shit imaginable. There is no feeling like being in a snowstorm at night. Since it's so reflective, everything is lit up like it's almost day, and it is so incredibly quiet that you can only hear your breath and your thoughts, and the crunch of snow beneath you. Here's a picture I took in Alaska. Sure, if you live in some big city shithole the snow will get disgusting, but as it is freshly falling, it blankets everything in this nice layer.
