Why is Ronaldo's RB ending considered cringe, stupid and lame but SJR True Neutral ending considered based, doom guy cool, and bittersweet?

because doomguy doesn't murder beat girl for no reason and shoulders the burden alone without roping the rest of the world into his tard war

redux neutral is also lame and shits on the optimism of the original neutral

It's been a long time since I played Record Breaker so I had to read an ending summary so maybe I'm missing something, but I think the difference is that Ronaldo's ending implies the party WILL eventually fail, where as Space Marine has already crushed the Schwartzveldt seven or so times already with no signs of weakness. Ronaldo also suffers from there being an objectively better option proposed by a more popular character that the game is even named after, and probably some lingering resentment for his character from the original route.

The implication is because you have to defeat literally every single star in existence, which is an absurd amount of victories. Just by pure statistics you're bound to lose once and that's the end. Humanity will mutate into a different species by the time Space Marine reaches even a fraction of that number.
