The guns don't make soldier OP in any game, and ad-rush is only op in 2 if you use the mattock.
ME3 soldier is unironically played best at full power regen and just spamming the incendiary concussion blast because it both primes and detonates, so optimal soldier play in 3 is just spamming that in every fight.
They did Tali dirty by teasing her to appear very early in 2 but only recruit her halfway into the game and putting her far back 3/4 into the game in 3.
Biotics are OP in 1, any class with biotics will breeze through insanity difficulty
In 2 they get nerfed hard but then you get the Hornet SMG
Sentinel > Soldier > Infiltrator (cloak doesn't work against higher tier enemies and will continue to shoot you) > Adept > Vanguard > Engineer (useless in 3 since Mr. Marauder shields, Banshees and higher tier enemies will ignore your drones and turrets)
give Garrus the Typhoon and he'll become turian jesus
give James the Typhoon and insanity will play itself
