Even the only interesting part of the series, the Halos themselves, are knockoffs from older and better sci fi series.

Pretty kino and was written in 6 weeks.
Hard to beat how the original trilogy of Halo books blended together.

These books were great when I was 12. Also, Library was an excellent level because you had access to lots of all weapons and because it was potentially challenging. Quake didnt lose, it was already dead, not even able to sustain itself because it was never a good franchise.
