>make an open world vampire game with an unattractive woman as the main protagonist
>she is also possessed by a negro elder vampire, Johnny Silverhand-style

Just imagine anything you don't like or want in games and I'm sure this shit will have it.
I for one can't and won't "get over" the fact that they thought the should make a sequel to the second game in the series. Redemption was first, then came Bloodlines, so they should have given that shit a new name. But they won't because they were and she scared the the name recognition is ALL they have to sell this turd on, despite the fact that anyone who played Bloodlines can see it isn't the same and has absolutely nothing to do with it.

That's literally where all the problems began, because it signals the utter and total lack of faith in the game to do well without being able to ride the coattails of VTMB. If they had given it a real name, then I personally would have been much more generous and lenient. But they specifically chose "Bloodlines 2" which is completely ridiculous to anyone intelligent enough to know both the original games in the series, and then they went and made sure that if you liked Bloodlines then you'll find absolutely nothing to like in "2". It's really just outright mockery of the franchise and fans at this point. They could even have called it "VTM: Inquisition" which would have made the name "Phyre" slightly funny.
