Anduin getting kidnapped by two val'kyr was probably the funniest thing that happened in modern WoW lore. It was so bad that Blizzard is still trying to forget that Shadowlands happened. You just set up the new king as this guy who has to learn how to deal with responsibility as he becomes this mix of both paladin and priest, becoming his own man and leading his people through the storm and he just gets kidnapped by two basic mobs while Greymane screams "NOOOOO" and nobody in the surrounding area tries shooting the val'kyr down.

There are many points in WoW's history/lore that cannot be taken seriously but that scene is one of the absolute funniest and showcases Blizzard's lack of care or love for their own franchise.
