that's because i bought the steam deck to play small indies and for emulation, and you can play a LOT longer things like them.
on the other hand i bought the switch 2 for big first party exclusives, and not only is the battery lackluster, it also discharges very quickly if you leave it in standby overnight.
in hindsight i should have honestly waited for a later hardware revision
