That episode was actually pretty funny. I know they did it in S1 a couple of times but even those weren't as over the top wacky as S2. Really feels like they ran out of ideas after S2E1.

I'm enjoying it, actually. It's no season one, for sure, but every episode contains at least one large portion that makes me smile. It's still a good, funny show. I'm really curious to see what the plot focused episodes will be like, because I genuinely like the way they've been writing the less cynical and more heartfelt segments a lot. The latest episode was my favorite by a pretty wide margin for the final section alone. If you're in it for the dub, though, it's a lot worse than the original.

It was powerpuff girls but anime is how i saw it. Ppg was still fresh in peoples heads, now its been 25 years with most of the audience not having seen a second of ppg. This decline was predictaboo

First season comes out in 2010. PlatinumGames first released game came out in 2009. They were relative unknowns at this time and even the best game they released Bayonetta sold well enough but clearly nobody wanted to fund their second game from Sony or Microsoft that they had to go to Nintendo to get it released. Skip 15 years to Season 2 and PlatinumGames is a kinda shell of it's former self when Kamiya left as well as some other high profile talent. They tarnished their name with Babylon's Fall in 2022 and Bayonetta 3 which got a community seething and are looking for a redemption arc with Ninja Gaiden 4. Panty and Stocking just missed the sweet spot where PlatinumGames golden era.
