Despite Rich being the only one from the main trio to be knowledgeable about vidya in some capacity, I am least interested in his opinions. I think BotW is still decent. It was definitely getting old for a little while but the recent batch of episodes have been good.
HitB is straight up unwatchable now. They treat those films like BotW films. They barely pay attention, get details outright wrong, and Mike spends half the review rewriting the script like he is talking about an amateur horror flick.
Re:View is okay. Some episodes are good and funny, others are boring and just feel like reading IMDB entries.

Overall, it sucks that RLM was far and away my favorite youtube channel and the main reason I actually made a youtube account to subscribe (I was previously watching their content on their website) and now they have one good show and the rest either suck or are whatever.

I actually think Mike DESPISES the sequels more than the prequels. The prequels suck, but are better than the sequels and actually have a creative voice behind them. They are fucked up and retarded, but these are George Lucas' ideas and expand upon the lore. Other material, as you said, like the Clone Wars cartoon as well as books and comics made them a bit better and more tolerable as well. And then at worst, basically every line and scene has become a meme so they are hilarious to watch.
The sequels are soulless, designed by committee with no plan. The movies contradict themselves between entries. They are boring as shit. They just rehash the ideas from the OT. They're more technically competent, I guess, but I'd never want to watch them again.

Even Episode 5 is worse than Splinter of the Mind's Eye, but the cutting special effects and the stupid reveal that Vader is Luke's father hard-carried that film.
