Have you guys played any Holocure lately?
I'm trying to level my Korone, but there seems to be some kind of bug where her punches slow down randomly and idk what to do.

My friend tells me this is the best game in this genre but i cant bring myself to play it.

Because the dev is BASED, literally refusing even donations, and he's also professional anime animator.
I know zoom zooms don't even remember the FLASH game era, when every single fan project and OC was free by default, and people were proud to keep it that way.

Not true. Holocure literally was the highest rated Steam game for months, and it has so much content and original ideas, that it easily overshadows the Vampire Survivors itself in its "genre".

I played the ID update right before the new one came out and I haven't worked up the motivation to check it out yet. Part of my motivation to play was that I was building my own tier list but there's so many characters now and I feel like I need to replay all of them since they get changed a little each patch, just feels like a lot. I also don't care about any of the side stuff.

This. It's a game that doesn't need understanding of its content to play.
It's intended to be that way too hence why there's a cheat sheet.
Also the dev himself doesn't even get most of the references since there's 90 active members each streaming for thousands of hours and nobody has time to keep up with them all. He just outsources info from the fans for anybody he doesn't know about.

The negative of this however is that the dev focuses more on what the streamer wants and not what the fans want.
He has a team (despite people thinking he does it all alone) and each member of his team works on Holocure to improve their own skills, so they end up making things like the Holohouse and the Holo Jump King minigame instead of the rest of the Holos and more stages.

I was so close but I got swarmed at the end. This level gets ridiculously hard at the end game, but I also forgot to pick Gorilla's Paw before maxing my passives to get the Super Collab. Also, I forgot that I have marketing maxed, so...teehee pero~

The game was made for Myth (EN1) but after adding in EN2, then ID1 - 3 as a special circumstance, I believe he just decided to go through debut order from everybody not added because the game ended up becoming overwhelmingly popular. Also the 9 characters per update thing unless things got changed.
