spec priority is you baseline for stat-sticking, since they will appear in their correct training facility more with that higher. then initial friendship is a nice secondary to that, as those rainbows will come sooner.
training effectiveness and bonus stat then gives more numbers per training.
additionally for wit cards they can give more recovery and SP which is nice.
everything stat wise after that is a sweetener to the deal but not good on their own. it's no good just having, for example a massive mood effect bonus if they never rainbow anyway.
after that another way of looking at it along with just spec priority as a statstick - would be the actual skills and events they give, for synergy - however at this point in the game basically no one but the biggest whales can really consider this much. even whales are limited here. you might have like an extra speed or stamina option at this point, but otherwise you are just using the best statsticks you have that you used resources to level. later with multiple MLB max level you can synergize like, putting the cards with loads of frontrunner skills on the frontrunner uma, etc.
