console gamers dont want gyro because they prefer the game aim for them.

Legitimately a better d-pad than the Dualsense
but if you want that d-pad you can get a chink controller for 1/2-1/3 the price and get gyro+rechargeable batteries with it

Now, if you were smart (which you're not) you'd make the argument for aim assist in CoD which actually DOES make a different.

Let me break this down for you.
I've been a Siege player since fucking LAUNCH. Well, and I mean, WELL over 15000 hours it. Ranking up to Diamond each season at a minimum.
I've used controller and a fucking Xim. There is a reason Ubisoft is constantly battling with Xim users... because the "autoaim" in the game is DOGSHIT and doesn't give you the slightest advantage at all.
Despite Xim giving little Aiden and Jayden a massive advantage on their road to "being a streamer" or a "FaZe member" - I shit all over them with my fucking controller.
Likewise, when I used the Xim, I shat all over the controller users as well, because there is NO real autoaim in the game.

I'd never use a Xbox controller if every PC port didn't have only xbox icons. I know which button is which, but I just prefer playstation icons being shown but it's sometimes not an option, especially games from gamepass that have non-gamepass versions with the playstation icons included.

use steam input
map gyro as gyro to mouse [beta]
set in game mouse sensitivity to raw input and 1:1
set a button to do a full 360 revolution in steam input
find a reference point in game
use this reference point and the 360 rotation button to tweak the dots per 360 value that influences your gyro sensitivity and flick stick
once a 360 revolution puts you in the same spot every time tweak the actual gyro settings to whatever you want
do some gay math and figure out all the ratios once it's as sensitive as you want it to transfer your sensitivity to any other game (after you configure dots per 360 for whatever other game)

congratulations you now have perfect gyro and flick stick and can dab on retards who still think mouse and keyboard is the best control method for anything besides spreadsheets

if the game doesn't allow for simultaneously mouse and controller input you'll need to map all the buttons on the controller to keyboard keys

if the game doesn't let you use raw mouse input with 1:1 sensitivity it is a shit game that you promptly uninstall and never think about again

Gyro is actually insane for precision aiming on controller but it won't be adopted any time soon into mainstream games like Battlefield because it's a skill ceiling that completely filters out anyone used to relying entirely on normal aim assist. But if you reduced aim assist and forced it on people in those kinds of games people would start to see that it actually bridges the barrier between mouse and controller aiming a lot closer and more fairly than aim assist does.
