Why did you stop playing warframe?

I already had all the stuff I wanted and the stuff they kept adding was lame and/or gay.

I hit a wall and had no clue what to do to keep progressing. I don't want to go to a wiki to learn where to farm.

The more we played it the more I realized I hated how it looks. There's so much visual vomit going on. Last time I played was the update where you take down those giant things on the plain. It just looked like a cheap f2p game with garbage visuals

i somehow let friends drag me into that game and ended up with over 400 hours in it. not one single moment in that game is memorable or good. it was entirely a useless grind the entire time and the game felt the same with no feeling of growth for the grind. absolute dogshit game

Got annoyed at all the islands of content completely disconnected from one another. First time they did it, sure, it was fun but by the time Failjack rolled out, it was annoying and it only got worse from there with shitty self contained resource grinds every few months.

I take a break from it for 6 months at a time. When I come back there is usually one or two big updates. I grind the new stuff and enjoy the new quests. Maybe get a cosmetic or two. Then 6 months of playing other stuff again. It works. It keeps me from burning out on the game

I got burnt the fuck out during the Oraxia event. Their grindy event structure combined with Duviri RNG bullshit does not mix and two damage attenuation bosses stacked ontop of each other just made that shit even worse because only certain things in your random selection of stuff would be viable. This year has also just been a pretty bad year update wise for the game regardless. Just waiting on Caliban Prime to drop to play again.

I got tired of the treadmill and the beauty of the female form eventually wasn't enough to keep me tied down. Even thinking back on the time I spent on it, it never really had any great highs. It's just a way to spend time when I don't have anything else interesting to play, and that void is mostly filled by 4X games these days.
Either make a sequel or turn it into a straight erotic game. Those are the only two routes that could bring me back.

You can simply solo or join a dojo. It has drop in co-op for any mission if you want to play with others

There is no such thing as being behind in Warframe. New people start all the time and make it through all the story quests in a month. Plus as a new player you have all the benefit of the quality of life stuff they've done for new players

I mostly play solo, and have for years. The most I interact with other players regularly is answering peoples' questions in the Q&A chat.

Got tired of the half-assed content island design cycle.
Cool concepts would be introduced (like Railjack or Plains of Eidolon), be fucking broken to shit on release, eventually get half-working but still broken, but ultimately neglected as the development would move on to the next cool concept big update to keep the player count up, regardless of if the rest of the game was actually working or finished.
Then these old design concepts were just left to be content islands, never really interacting with eachother or mattering outside of its place.

The friend I played it with got pissed with the devs refusing to fix shit and stopped playing.
I tried to play it again after the 1999 update but after clearing the story I would get stuck in the lobby after missions unable to do anything but shitpost in the chat.

The community is gay both literally and in the twitter faggy way.
DE is starting to go even more hardcore twitter crowd + gooner pandering.
It's still a good grinding just to grind game and facilitates that really well, better than 99% of the games that try to fulfill that same niche, I just have alot of issues with it.

I couldn't justify the amount of hours it took to join the higher tier grinds from all the void relic shit that you had to do. (Or void stuff in general in the early years) Just to get plat to trade so you could then farm a few other types of content to really be able to play the game at a high proficiency.

Yeah, I didnt think it wouldve happened, but here we are.
but i guess since The First Descendant was picking up the stragglers from Destiny 2 and Warframe, they felt 'obligated' to do so. Or maybe it was just because of Rebecca being a gooner herself or something. People are gushing over the Wisp and Harrow protoframes like sex-starved pests, and it's tiring to see. It's only going to get worse.
