It ain't what it used to be, I'll tell ya what. There's little to no suspense and a fraction of the viewers. Claude had the hype train at full speed just to go schizo before making to the 2nd half of the game. Kurukkoo isn't even from the beginning runs...fuck.

So he got back here in record time. So that means he'll be here even longer before the next version is released and the plug is pulled. Because he's never beating this maze, LLMs are just too dumb to do this on their own without direct intervention or specific step-by-step instruction on how to do it. If it was just a matter of bumbling into the right path, sure, but he has to do it twice in a specific sequence. Nope. This thing can't even put together cutting a tree in the bottom right corner of the map to get to the bottom left corner

>>717883729He got through the maze ONCE in the entire 2 months he'd spent on it. But the 2nd floor maze. And that was EARLY in the run too. He got lucky, then realized that the 2nd floor stairs got him into a room that wasn't 4th floor with the Lift Key.
That was the HARDER of the maze as well. He'd need a lot of TIME or a lot of LUCK to get through the 3rd floor maze, however.
And then do it AGAIN for the 2nd floor maze in order to actually ride the Lift to Giovanni.
i am going to rape claude
>>717886836he got through b2 twice actually.
>>717885274builded for big blue cock
>>717887873How could he get through BF2 twice but not BF3 once?
>>717888275b3 has this massive pocket at the start that is a giant dead end trap that teases you with the stairs right next to it, and a tiny side entrance at the start he keeps missing.
b2's exits are both something you can only go for after going INTO its traps, as opposed to b3
>>717888275BF2 is significantly simpler, the correct tile to advance is always only 2-3 steps away. BF3 requires following a much longer path while avoiding multiple tiles that will reset the entire run.
>>717888520for newcomers: claude has never gotten further than the yellow lines corner at number 4 and 5.
he only ever got to that point 4 times over the course of weeks.
every time he did he then stepped onto one of those bad tiles, as shown here.
>>717885274Gen 1 still has the best protagonist design, followed by gens 2 and 5
>>717886836>>717887873I want Claude to make it. I want him to get the Lift Key. But the LLM's attention span is so short that I know he'll have to stumble into it through blind luck, while not even realizing he has to do it in specific order. It's not impossible, but it's somewhat improbable.
99% sure 4.1 won't make it through before the upgrade. Pretty sure the next version, 4.2 will be the same. Going to need some major upgrades/breakthroughs for it to make it through the spin maze. This includes being actually able to see and discern different things as well as mapping stuff out. Also, get rid of navigator and having single inputs instead. Targeting (19, 18) constantly and not knowing what's getting in your way is just madness on repeat.
Imagine Claude actually seeing trees and not himself as the Captain or Surge.
>>717888869Also, having constant vision of the game, and not just being sent screenshots of the gamestate after every action, so he can directly see what the spinners do instead of thinking they are warp tiles.

note the three sets of tard traps.
see how the upper left one is actually REQUIRED to enter?
look at all the possible routes to take to solve B2, and how close you get to escaping it instead (brown route)
B2 is actually incredibly forgiving in comparison to B3 as this anon showed
>>717888520
>>717888957Also using more than 5% ram. He can write things down and say what "warp tile" warps you to which coordinate, but none of it matters when he wipes it clean a minute later.
>>717888869>>717888957I think not altering the harness is intentional at this point, makes for a better benchmark.

I'll check in periodically to see if Claude is gooning in his little corner or if he's made any progress. Or if he changes objective and tries to enter Erica's gym. Then after a week I'll check in every week to see if anything has happened, or if there's a new upgrade (somebody will be first to post a thread just like this time around).
This is the most interesting and also the most boring part of the run. Because of seeing if Claude can solve the puzzle, but also how he ends up stepping on the same tile pushing him back 10,000 times.
Safari Zone will be much more interesting given how big the map is.
Funny how Claude still keeps switching between floors given his model should know the 'correct' order to tackle the puzzles.
>>717889682Damn Claude is retarded.
Must be why he solved BF2 twice in his previous run for no reason.
if you tell claude that you're stuck in a basement and explain how spin tiles work is he able to come up with an actual solution to solve it like testing where each tile spins you to and then planning a route that avoids the wrong ones?
>>717889764No, because he doesn't retain memory. He'll forget it the next minute.
>>717889815but if you explain how the puzzle works in the prompt can he figure out the solution? in other words is he too dumb to solve the puzzle or is the problem that he can't even figure out how the puzzle works to begin with?
>>717889921He can figure out the solution if you explain it thoroughly to him by simple process of elimination.
>I stepped on 15,19 and I got sent backDid you try stepping on 15,20?
>I stepped on 15,20 and I got sent backDid you try stepping on 15, 21?
>I stepped on 15, 21 and I got sent backDid you try stepping on 15, 22?
The problem is twofold. By using the navigator Claude doesn't realise what tiles he's stepping on, and he doesn't have the memory to remember the previous tiles he stepped on.
>>717890051He has a meta challenge in realizing his tools are flawed. This isn't actually insurmountable for an AI model but Claude is one of the most trusting and 'aligned' models which causes him to really trust his tools more than himself.
Horn Drill TM picked up. Wonder if he'll ever teach it to Spike.
