How the fuck are you supposed to play this shit on the bus or train? The whole mouse gimmick is not designed for portability at all. Very odd choice from Nintendo honestly. There's a difference between playing video games normally for fun and doing whatever the fuck it is autistic streamers do.
Those kinds of ridiculous "achievements" feel hollow because it's transparently a waste of time even by "waste of time" standards. The amount of effort spent could have gone towards literally anything else and resulted in better outcomes across the board. The only justification I could see for this is money, and I have no idea how much money this streamer makes and how much they actually need achievements like those to get views and subscribers.

Not really. I was never going to be a martial arts expert and even if I could I would have to leave my house to get beat up daily at some dojo. rolling out of bed and playing a fighting game is a different level of commitment whereas playing 45 minutes of guitar a day isn't really any different from spending that time learning a guitar hero song on expert.

Other games that are very similar to the real thing like racing sims actually give you skills that transfer to real life.

it's not like playing it means some lost future where you otherwise could've went and played guitar.
it's possible to like rhythm games for the gameplay but not actually be interested in playing a musical instrument.
I played beat saber for a good while because I liked beat saber gameplay, doesn't mean I should've spent that time learning how to play drums instead because why the fuck would I if I wasn't interested in the first place. these are two separate goals.
