moon base is probably the worst AE final level period. i like the look of it which got pretty obviously retooled into 3's final stages but because the magnet is given to you so late they basically have to have rooms dedicated to it to make it have any use.
really aside from the transformations making the game extremely easy unless you don't use them aside from required moments or the time trials 3 is basically just a better version of 2, even down to the japanese script having specter's plan actually using lethargy laser energy that the dubs just didn't translate.
