Remember when flash games were free?
Well, see, now they can put their game on the app store for $5. That's infinitely times more greater than $0. The jump from $60 to $100 is much, much less, relatively, only 2/3x more greater.
You're really getting a deal there, bucko.

We live in an era where we're blackmailed into pretending 1s and 0s are worth anything more than what they actually are
Cost of labor and distribution does not justify current price tags, specially considering that the salary of devs does not go up with the game's price tag (actually, they'll get laid off!)
It's like that with every form of software and digital media, the quantification of how ripped off you're being is exponential to how much you pay for the "product/service"

Weeks ago Microsoft lowered the price on a game that hasn’t even released yet because nobody would pre order it for $80. The answer is simple, they charge whatever they think they can get away with.

Been "imminent" for like 15 years now, anon. At this point, collapse is just the season finale they keep teasing but never air. Still, wouldn't mind seeing the DLC where central banking gets nerfed.
