Battfield 6 Beta Review

Here's my review of the beta of BF6 as someone who plays BF very casually.
I've played the BF series since BC2. That said the only ones I've played are BC2, BF3, BF4, and BF1. But that doesn't mean I know in-depth what I'm talking about. I just know surface-level stuff.
BF6 Pros:
>Set in modern times. Easily something I already like.
>Good destruction. I don't remember that much anymore from previous games but I did see videos of BF2042 and I thought that game's destruction was bad. I think it's kinda a return to form on that?
>Modern guns and gadgets
>I believe the maps have great character. Albeit small (for now)
>Lots of settings that you can change, BUT.
BF6 Cons:
>The menu UI for me looks too over-complicated. There are too many menus with submenus that go to the same things. Example I was playing on the PS5 and I wanted to change some controller settings. I had to go to I think three submenus just to be able to change buttons.
>Maps are too squished. I think they followed the 3-lane philosophy too much to pander to COD players. But I think that does not work for BF though. For me a good example is Liberation Peak. There is a segment there on the map that I think needs to be opened up more to allow players to not feel funneled.
>The attachments help too much to make a lot of guns feel like laser beams.
>For me the TTK feels fine. I think the TTD is the problem. It feels like you got shot 5 times in 0.5 seconds.
>I grew up with server browsers. I really would love one in the game officially.
As a casual player that's all I could provide really. The positives and negatives are too obvious that why someone like me was able to point it out. I don't know any in-depth things that others complain about.
That said, for BC2 I think there was a beta when it came out right? It was a rush mode. That's why I really like Rush a lot. But why did they make it like it's not an important game mode and made Breakthrough the 2nd important game mode? Was Rush actually bad?
