>have an enormously powerful PC
>a large backlog of games, more than I could ever 100% in a lifetime
>no serious responsibilities other than my job
>play vidya maybe 5 hours a week, maybe half of that in graphically-intensive games

Bros, what happened to me? I used to be able to dump hundreds of hours into games without a thought. Now? It's like pulling teeth.

it's called videogame impotence
try putting some effort into playing truly unique games instead of chasing something specific
try out weird indies, emulate japanese domestic releases, dig in itch category dumpsters, play AA slavjank shooters
you need to find something that will reignite the spark again

What do you do with your remaining free time?
If you spend the majority of your time outdoors, exploring other hobbies, or getting in better physical shape, then you've just grown up.
If you spend the majority of your time on /v/itter, social media, or staring at the ceiling, then you're NGMI

Consider OP
Would you rather
>Spend 20 hours on shitty games
Or
>Spend 5 hours on a good game
Chances are you're gonna burn out, and that's ok. Just gotta be more selective. The breaks make it more worthwhile

I want to spend more time on good games without feeling like my energy is going to flatline.
