I'm surprised there aren't more leaks about development drama given the layoffs at The Chinese Room. Still, hope the game is awesome.

Well you can hope but we all know it'll be a mockery of the original and Rudi tier.

Logic. Reason. Experience. 10 years of development. Two different developers. Being trashed and started over. Current dev never having made an RPG. Paradox hating the franchise. Second iteration of the game being started while DEI was peaking. Phyre.

I'm thinking it will probably be the greatest game of all time, more influential than Ocarina of Time or possibly even Donkey Kong Bananza

It's more likely to be really good, but with a few annoying issues that boil down to "Paradox weren't willing to give them more money".

Not even a tiny chance of that happening.

Isn't firing the original developer and bringing in a developer respected for writing and atmosphere a really positive sign for a Bloodlines sequel?

It could be a shoe-in for RPG of the year, but I doubt GOTY is one the table. It would be like Mass Effect 2 winning GOTY. (It was overshadowed by RDR.)

>a developer respected for writing and atmosphere
Stop being so retarded. They've made 4 "games", all of them enclosed walking simulators, nothing even remotely on the scope of the original Bloodlines. They're not respected, they're the same experience level as indie devs putting out pastel colour baby games about alligators wearing hats. Their "writing" as absolutely fucking atrocious and the only reason you think they're anything special is because they got praised by kotaku for having a male character blubber like a faggot in Still Wakes the Deep.

Why do you keep making these threads? Like literally no one is actually excited for this shit. Normalfags donโ€™t know or care about it, fans of VtM expect it to be shit. You seem to be the only one that is trying to force discussion by spamming these threads. But they always end up the same, it just becomes a game of spot the dogshit and shazamfagging and then people talk about VtMB for the rest.

Because itโ€™s considered to be feminine and they need characters to be as androgynous as possible.

I know it's going to be shit, but I must admit, seeing the White Wolf logo at the bottom of the box takes me back to the first game. Feels nostalgic and authentic. I hope I am wrong and the game is good.

disagree, after such a long dev hell its 100% going to play it way too safe and be so middling it fails to evoke a reaction good or bad
just playable enough you can coast through it to the end
