i kinda want to play starcraft 2 and all the expansions just for the campaign, the skirmish, the arcade and some coop shite
i really dont care about ladder or pvp

Campaigns are the reason most people get into RTS games, which is something that even companies who make these games seem to have forgotten.
SC2's campaign is great, go play it.

Bro I feel that. The moment you weave Synergy procs into your rotation it becomes less about doing damage and more about juggling cooldown plates on a unicycle over lava. And of course if you miss one cycle your DPS nosedives like a Zeratul main in Bronze. I still run it though, purely out of spite and delusion.

The campaign in terms of gameplay is pretty fun. The missions are very varied and they've included some power-ups you can buy to strengthen certain units during the campaign, or get some other buffs, to best suit however you want to play it.

While the story is a massive downgrade from SC1, it's still an enjoyable campaign.

A lot of old WC3 custom maps have SC2 versions you can play, although I don't know how active those are nowadays. I last played those with >friends while drinking together remotely during early covid quarantines.
