Creators of Hitman IO Interactive making James Bond game. So it'll be like Hitman but with spy gadgets, driving and supervillains.

And can you imagine it, you actually get to play as a white heterosexual male who is both competent and cool.

>Bond with absolutely nothing sexual going on, not even flirting
>If there is flirting, its played for laughs as he is immediately shot down every time
>At the absolute worst, some preachy bullshit coming from Bond himself about giving women space or whatever.
No matter how you slice it, this angle is completely poisoned in current year. And without it, its not Bond.

Connery was always a terrible shithead with women and his Bond flirting with women was always just for exploitation for information then getting them killed, never anything else. His courteous flirt with Moneypenny where it's clear neither of them actually would bang each other is probably the positive interaction Connery's Bond has with women.

Wrong, Sylvia Trench appeared in two movies and in the second one she's there willingly and nothing bad happens.

We really should go back to him raping a lesbian into a straight woman.

Was the scar really that prominent in the books? I remember it being pretty minor.

They basically painted a giant line on him for surface level good boy nerd points.
>See, we're REAL Bond fans for including this detail that would make him a terrible spy!
It looks retarded and the movies were right to drop it.

iirc he mentions it being prominent when bond is tanned in either live & let die or dr. no, but most of the time even though it gets mentioned when he's described physically there's not really any implication that it's glaring or dominates the face

it's especially retarded to include as a little jingling key for wiki warriors when literally everything else about the character and the tone is as far from fleming's bond as you could possibly get (which was already pretty far from screen bond)

>>717899648
it's a little more reasonable when the books are set, a suspicious agent in 1953 can't just quickly search a database of known spies or something. plus him being prominent does end up making him a target, that's the whole plot of from russia with love

James Bons IS and always has been the worst spy in existance. Driving a T-72 through buildings in Moscow while the police were after him wasn't that subtle, now was it?

I can't bring myself to be any kinds of excited about this game considering that it will likely just be a Hitman reskin AND considering the fact that IOI is working on a semi-MMO-like fantasy game instead, which sounds infinitely more interesting.

Probably wouldn't make sense for him to be suave considering this is him as a fresh young spy.
I'd be surprised if we don't see him mature into the Bond we know as the game goes on.
