I started it up once and immediately i was in a room with very obvious vents the enemies were going to come out of. I closed it and havent thought about it since.

Shitskin thirdworlder beanerpoorfags will say you're le cringe old dead space is le based nicole nicole nicole tranny tranny tranny but you know what? you're right
a lot of games in the 6th and 7th gen, especially on console just got abandoned for whatever reason. they're trapped in the hole of being old enough to feel somewhat subpar but not in an interesting or novel way like psx games.

it has a couple cool moments but it's otherwise a very low hanging fruit seventh gen game made by ea. it's like going back to watch 15 year old network tv.

Zoomers love violent stuff full of blood and explosions, the problem is they think none of that stuff was allowed before the 2010s and only like the most mind-numbing shit
My favorite movies are The Thing and Alien and my favorite game is Resident Evil 4 and yet I've never played Dead Space. How weird is that? It's like the game was tailor-made for me specifically
I like Dead Space but it's really not that special, 3rd person horror shooters are a dime a dozen. The only special thing is the limb separation mechanics, everythign else you've seen a dozen times elsewhere. Even back when it came out.

Millenial here.
Dead Space 1 was never a "classic".
Dead Space 2 certainly isn't a "classic".
Dead Space 3 is slightly underrated but not a classic either.

I thought I'd like it because it's sci-fi horror but the Necromorphs just don't do it for me, they weren't scary at all, just tedious to deal with.
