You're comparing mk8dx which fixed the fuck shit that was mk8 to a game that has only been out for two months. i played mk8 on release and right now i'd say mk world has it beat by miles. mk8 didn't even have a proper battle mode and they tried forcing you to watch a replay after every race. mk8 also had shit tracks all around. that's why nintendo just gave up and re-released tons of tracks once it came to the switch.

Also, add costumes to all the NPC drivers and keep adding until every character has teen. Reindex the character selection to be like 8DX, where selecting a character will bring up costume options. Seriously companies need to stop hiring UI designers as permanent employees. You only need them once. Also there's literally 130 different types of goombas. There's no excuse for NPC drivers not having costumes. Just use the enemy's dozens of different designs or make costumes up like for everyone else.
