>The Man Who Sold the World released in 1970
>MGSV: The Phantom Pain released in 2015
How the fuck did he know about Big Boss 45 years before MGSV released?

Blackstar always makes me sad. Great music but it was the end of an era.
"Spirit rose a meter then stepped aside, somebody else took it's place" and still no one has ever come close.

I am almost 100% sure that if Bowie were still alive, he would've wanted to be in Death Stranding as a shelter inhabitant and feature some of his music in the game. He did an entire in game concert in a game in the early 00's when the technology was in its infancy, he would've loved how far it came now

bluntly, i'm having a go at it myself, but it's a hard act to follow.
the magicians of the past sure left a funny mess today

bowie dropping the weirdest shit ever before he died is one of the most based moments in music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kszLwBaC4Sw

He got the rights to a lot of other music though. I personally wonder if using a cover track that isn't even from the era the game is set in is one of Kojima's mindgames.
Like "this song should actually be Bowie, but it isn't" - another phantom pain

Same actually, just picked up a guitar for the first time because of his music this year. In a couple years I hope to actually release something.

The only Metal Gear I played was Metal Gear Solid, back when it was released.
Purchased it because it was hyped so much, and didn't enjoy a second of it, the gameplay was dogshit. I don't get the appeal of that series.
Thanks for reading my blog.

Good luck Black Star. I'm a writer personally, that's my art, but following Bowie's occult interests has been dynamite.

that's one of the more obvious ones. all the lead ups to how you're big boss, while you're waking up from the 9 year coma "the man who sold the world" is playing. the story unravels to venom snake not being big boss, but a cover for him
>a cover
come on dude.

you are now aware that there are more "big boss kidnaps soldiers" metal gear solid games than there are normal metal gear solid games.

There are only three of the former.

there's actually 4 of each, i'm a bit of a dumbass. ground zeroes is kind of both types of games at once.

There was only one completely normal Metal Gear Solid game. Unless you count the Gameboy one.

Also Metal Gear Solid itself was kind of supposed to be the "goodbye" to Metal Gear, with Snake being old and stuff, and giving up on being a solider, but that didn't happen.

If it counts for both then the traditional MGS style still has more games.

>age hasn't slowed you down one bit!
>33 years old
as a 34 year old, this entire sentence makes me laugh my ass off. when i played the game as a kid, 33 seemed ancient, despite seeing my dad doing backflips while snowboarding, and getting up right after bailing on roller blades, and laughing it off. i'll never know where "30 years old is one foot in the grave" started, but it's really funny. 22 year old me would get completely destroyed by 33 year old me, and i've been active my whole life.
