if you have a switch 1 than wait until there is a game that catches ur attention. Once a new smash or zelda is on its way.
If you dont got a switch and you find one in stock than it still depends how you feel on Nintendo games and if you like handheld play. Switch isnt an upgrade nor replacement for a PC or PS5 but rather a sidegrade. If you travel a lot or just dont spend much time at home than its worth it. If you know you'll only use it in the dock than it might not be for you esp if you dont care about playing 1st party Nintendo games.

Why? It makes Switch 1 games playable. Graphics and performance are acceptable. No need for Unreal slop anyway. Why? It's fun. Think that's all that matters in the end.

Well. That's just an edgy way of dissing people who don't want to wait 3-4 years to get something they want, for free and illegally, while being updated on how the emulation scene progresses and such.

I guess if you're kinda broken is best to wait. But if you have money and just want to play the game, it makes perfect sense to pay for things straight.

I never got around playing the new system shock remake, for example, which I hear is good. But maybe i'm more in the mood to play a newer game. Why not. I also emulate a lot but some of you sound like vegans.

It looks more or less like a ps4 give or take. Admittedly there wasn't much of a jump between ps3 and ps4 visually. But I guess it was more than the current jump between ps4 and ps5.

I bought at launch, since I think even alot of games coming to Switch 1 will barely hobble along, while the Switch 2 version will be much more functional. If you're talking exclusive games though, I'd give it a year or 2. Thing is, there is the potential of Nintendo raising Switch 2 prices over time, because of tariffs, inflation, or any number of other reasons.
