I just finished like a 100 hour work week and now I'm excited to play all the new demos that have come out while I've been away from my computer.

That's not even possible dude. It's only been like 40 hours of this week

So, I gave "Limb Driver" a try. Starts off with your wife, who looks like an ogre, cheating on you or something and then she subsequently goes missing under strange circumstances? that isn't your wife in the screenshot, she was much uglier.

They go for surrealism, like your neighbour jumpscaring you to ask how you liked the cake she left outside your door. But you never found a cake? very peculiar. And the drunken neighbour on the other side said he saw someone mopping the hallway? very peculiar. I already solved it. You killed your wife for being an adulterer and lost your mind. case closed. yeah. It's not bad but I'm leaning towards not wishlisting this one.

Then I tried V's rage. This is about a housewife who is fed up with her children and husband playing games so a genie or something puts her in a video game to show her how cool video games are and they make a pretty funny joke about Altered Beast that only fucking losers would get so that was pretty good.

If it was a straight up beatemup, I might pass on it, but apparently the genre changes every level to other arcade genres like shooting or racing. So, yeah, this one goes on the wishlist, it's got enough soul. High quality animation.

Then I played "Hopeless Sea" and in that one you can choose the breasts you want to look at on the side of the screen out of four possible women. or maybe five. It was just a bland scrollshooter game and if I was going to play that why not just do it in V's Rage who will probably do a better job of it anyway. pass

So I'm kind of torn about this one. "Wildwood Down" is like, super high quality. They did a good job. I just don't know if I should be encouraging downies. But from what I saw in the demo, they aren't even treating him with kid gloves. They call him fat and stupid in the first five minutes.

Maybe I'll get it when it's 50% off. Maybe if the down syndrome guy is real then his hot sister is too and I can track her down in real life.

Then I tried lllamanadia or however you spell it. I don't know if I care about this. Should we be encouraging llamas? they're the down syndrome of animals.

anyway, yeah, pass, the game made no sense llamas can't build their own stables. You play as a Lllama, not a Llllama farmer.

Then I tried "Fire Hero Pixel Rescue". It was okay, but really just a puzzle platformer. save people from fiery buildings by jumping around or pushing bookshelves. also there's some sort of evil conspiracy or some shit I probably don't care about. it might just be sexist hiring practices at the fire department for all I know.

Then I played this one. I don't know if I should even bother giving it's name. they should be ashamed when down syndrome guy is making better games than them.

This demo, "Aegan Force The Scorian War" sure had a lot of words I didn't really give a fuck about. But it's a SRPG Final fantasy tactics kind of style. Except I was intrigued that they actually made modifications to the formula instead of a direct copy/paste. For example, you can free roam anywhere within your range of movement and you don't have deal with stupid fucking arrows. Why did it take so long for someone to do that? You'll see what I mean if you play the demo. Good enough for a wishlist. If it does one original thing, it might do more.

so this one was called mesmalie or something and you get berated by a Blue Jay for playing music that is too loud but then you lose control of your magical powers and vanish your whole apartment and the stars because apparently you didn't have a roof to begin with and then you are dreaming but then you wake up on fire and then you go to a witch's house for magic training it's a schizo game I estimate I would pay a maximum of $3.33 for this sort of game.

"Bunny Tyranny" might not look like much, but I was pretty impressed. It played a neat trick on me that I won't spoil. Sort of like how for a while, several games such as "One-Shot" or "Doki-Doki" would read your windows username and use it in the game as though they could read minds. It only works if you use your real name, but enh.

Anyway, this is a trick that I haven't seen anywhere else yet.

solid metroidvania. except you're a vampire which is the opposite of castlevania. probably good for people who like Shantae. wishlisted.

this protagonist is fucking ugly which might be enough of a reason to stop right there. Also the dog is named "beans". this developer has no aesthetic sense whatsoever.
