It depends on what you want to do with them since they can be useful on all sorts of tracks. Generally people go for dirt on El Condor Pasa and Mile for Scarlet, but they also have a lot of mediums so you do want at least some stamina. I went 3 speed-2 power-1 stamina, with the stamina card being a borrowed MLB Super Creek. It gives enough stamina to beat the career without overinvesting otherwise.

Does anyone else vary their running strategy based on their umamusume's starting gate? I'm running pace+late at the moment, choosing pace usually when I have a lower numbered gate closer to the inside curve, and late when I'm on the outside curve, i.e. gate 7/8+. A bit annoying, since running style skills won't apply on both strategies but it seems like that way my uma can better avoid being boxed.

A few days ago I had a dream where I was taking Rice Shower on a trip to the countryside. This game is going to send me to the grave one way or another at this rate.

Only started to watch the anime just a while ago. Having played the game it feels a bit weird to hear literally the same soundtrack being played throughout an episode. Not that I mind, since the music in the game is so good. Of course the anime came first due to all the delays, but still. In this case it was easy because it was planned and commissioned by Cygames, but I hate it when a game or other original product has great music and then the producers for the adaptation are too cheap to get the rights to the music or the (sound) director simply refuses to use the existing compositions.
The old yuri / all girls influence is pretty easy to see. Almost with any kind of meaningful role has so far been female, outside of the trainer. Even the commentators are both women: the main one is the same one as the female commantor ingame but I'd much rather take the cool male commentators. Good thing they let go of the yuri and girls only concept.

It was actually a really nice change of pace from most other campaigns because Teio's rival wasn't racing against her all the time, but already established one of the most dominant Umas of all time.
