The future of gaming is going to be multiplat, what Microsoft is currently doing by trying to put their games on everything will end up being the norm I think. That's the only way to capture non gamers, let let play on their phones and smart tvs. If the line needs to keep going up, you need to get rid of the hardware buy in.

PS5 Pro is a monster in specs, and nothing even comes close to pushing it, within their own library or in competition. Why even bother? Just make games that sell what they have.

There was no reason to keep consoles alive other than the perceived size of their normalfag audiences, but even they don't spend enough money to satisfy publishers.

I got one and enjoyed it, though it's mostly since I skipped the PS since PS2, so I could enjoy all those PS3/PS4 exclusives. If I got PS4 already, then yeah, it must have been the shittiest console, though at least it's not as grim as Series X.
