THIS. I work with an old boomer, initially when I started here I thought he looked pretty cool and was eager to meet him. Did not take long for me to realize what a pathetic excuse for a man he is. He sees everything as a challenge and thought he could boss me around and treat me awfully despite doing more or less the same job and only being a few years my senior in the company. At first I tried to respect him and look for his input and all that that but it was a mistake. All he does is talk shit about the younger guys who are far more capable and do more in our area. Thinks he’s always right and is just rude all the time. I will say there are some chill older dudes though so blaming it generationally probably doesn’t work across the board or anything..
