Xray's skeletal mesh and animation pipelines are ridiculously cursed. I've spent ample time modding all the games and some of the vanilla stuff feels like it came straight from a ghetto. Clear Sky is especially grim because it actually tried to solve some of the issue and instead you get spaghetti monster stuff like that, which also carried over to Call Of Pripyat and some of the offline to online AI optimizations. T-posing NPC's and animations getting stuck in a variety of states are almost the norm, not the exception.
