Its a cool game but ive never heard anyone say this who wasnt a shitter. You prefer alpha 2 and 3 because you like the art style and though sf3 was too weird and your main isnt in sf3, and sf2 is too old and janky because of op zoning and and throw loops and random damage and full of uggos
Honestly alpha 1 might be better than alpha 2 or alpha 3, custom combos make the games busted and those games have a bunch of redundant useless normals as well. Id say sf2 hf, alpha 1, or third strike could be the best sf.
A2 and a3 are still really good but for the reasons i mentioned i wouldnt put them at the top. 2nd impact is really good but 3rd strike is just that game but slightly better other than presentation. New gen is actually a pretty good game, but more too busted and unfinished compared to the others to consider -- its better than sf2 ce though, ce's balance is fucked and 3 ng just feels better and has a better roster. Ce is just a really easy game to get into and it came out at the right time.
