Nothing wrong with unreal.

The problem is an entire industry has pushed out all its senior developers and programmers and replaced them with cheap contractors and blue haired troons with 4 year degrees in gamemaker studio.

Unity is also a dogshit engine, but Yooka Laylee runs fine (the game is still shit), while Battletech is riddled with so many memory leaks its borderline unplayable.

Unreal has just become 'industry standard', but just like Photoshop or Maya that doesn't mean shit, a tool is only as good as its user, and the current users of unreal 5 are a bunch of retarded monkies

No need for any further posts, yep. It's the same problem as any other industry in the US, seniority and skill aren't valued because MBAs desperately wish that all humans were replaceable, functionally identical cogs so that they can just select the cheapest cogs and minmax their bottom line.

Show me a better editor. The unreal editor is insane.
And how about we pass on techniques for optimization and stuff like that so that maybe someone would actually make a good game on it.

You know the funniest thing about Unreal Engine is that it's used to make all sorts of games outside of the one genre it was developed for, FPS

>brainless, clueless completely unskilled zoomer devs who can't code, can't bugfix, can't test and MOST CERTAINLY CANNOT optimize anything they shit out
>worst game engine ever created specifically designed to hog resources and force fake game slop

Name a more dystopian duo.

You know, I never thought about that. What sort of fluke of history led to that being the case? I remember that wasn't always the case in the early 2000s, from Epic's own offerings in Unreal, Unreal 2, Unreal Tournament (1999 and 2003/2004) and a bunch of third party devs using the engine as well.
