I think it's biggest crime is just kind of being boring. The most notable aspects are how cloying it is with its singular, solitary joke it spreads over the entire game. The exploration is mediocre, the characters and stories are boring, the combat never gets interesting, even the looting is just kind of dull. It doesn't fulfill any of the expected systems you'd want but its not so fantastically bad as to be memorable for it.

It's just so weirdly forgettable.

Nah I played it and finished it on release and i'm replaying it now in preparation for TOW2 and to play the DLCs i didn't get to see. Game is kino, fun, dialogue options allow for awesome mercenary roleplay and i love the art design. This game actually has fun corporations unlike shitty Cybeprunk 2077 in which every corporation is the same boring chinky grey.

I played it. I wouldn't call it a good game, but at the same time, I can't call it a bad game either. It's just middling. It had a few good ideas like it's skill system, but it was so bogged down by it's dull characters. The devs just played it too safe. Didn't take any risks, and it shows.
