The magnetism is actually such a nice improvement. I prefer using Joycons over a Pro Controller because some games have a few extra motion sensor things, and now there's the Mouse Mode too, so I often have to put it back while the console is docked, and it has to stand behind my TV because the table isn't very wide. Before I would have to lean over, and try to "hit" the point where it slides in, but now I can just lazily put them towards it and it snaps in immediately.
I've already played 100s of hours across multiple games on it since I got it on launch and so far the joycons don't feel like they're getting looser like they did on Switch. I found after a long use, they kinda became less tight-feeling on the console.
Just a really premium feeling so far, and some ports are really impressive to me. Shadow Generations I played on PS5 originally, on the same TV, and while it's definitely not as pretty now, it still looks like a current-gen graphics setting, and it feels stable as well.
I'm still weirded out they're not using DLSS in games though. I wonder why. Every game that has it on PC doesn't seem like it had any issue implementing both FSR and DLSS. I don't understand what's holding developers back from it?
