Because modern Sega is a soulless corpse, and they'll prostitute out their IPs for a hint of money.

Despite atrocious reviews, the first demake probably did make back more than it cost to make, because it probably cost 2 dollars to make, and they sold a couple of copies.

When it comes to HotD, it's not like Sega themselves have a good track record. Everything after 3 is complete dogshit, if you like HotD4 you're a gibbering retard who is more enthralled by the gun having a motor in it for faux recoil than fun gameplay. On the plus side, at least we aren't getting shit like a "modern" version of VC3, which is still not really playable because they made it for Chihiro and nobody cares about Xbox emulation.

You are a disgusting fucking monkey. Holy shit, the idea that you watched the enemies dissolve into fucking blobs when shot because the devs were too incompetent to implement death animations and thought "eh, it's alright", makes me physically sick. You're the reason this game exists.

People have different opinions. Not everyone on /v/ will see a game the same way you see it.
I didn't mind them becoming blobs because they will melt anyways. In the original, they fall to the ground and then dissolve. The zombies dissolving immediately after being shot is an effect to make it more nasty or gorey (not real gore but somewhat in that direction).
Of course, they probably didn't add the animation of falling down but the change didn't make the game complete shit like making everything 200% brighter.

You have no eye for visual quality. They don't look gorey, they look goofy. It's the lowest quality stock physics effect possible.

What's sad is we have great physics sims for falling bodies now. If the game was made by people who weren't retarded, they could fall to the ground, and then do the gay dissolving shit. Instead, they do it in mid-air, and you watch that and go "eh, it's not that bad". You have absolutely no right to complain about this game looking like shit, because the first demake looked just as bad.
