Further proof Steamies don't play the games they buy: Robocop is at 23.4%
What's with such a low number? What part of the game filtered the average player? Don't tell me they died repeatedly against the torchheads or the vultures or something and then gave up.

This is the part where Steamoids will try to gaslight and say 'ehrm ackshually 23% is actually a good number!'

REMINDER
We now know who the true mastermind is now for the payment processor pressure campaign against anime, violent games and porn. The conservative christian run group Collective Shout is just a cover for Russ Vought, a co-writer for Project 2025, Director of the United States Office of Management and Budget, AND Acting Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

This man has already publicly stated his desire to have pornographic content, violent video games, and other types of content "harmful to children", banned from the internet.

In a two minute clip posted on YouTube by The Intercept the following transcript, highlighted in yellow, shows his intended starting point (start with children), and then he cuts himself off from explaining the next part of the plan, of violent video games, etc, as that route had failed twice already in the past few decades.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0noIS9lmR0Y [Embed] [Embed]

Now, in his position in the CFPB, Russ Vought has ultimate authority over payment providers and banks, and he has likely been abusing this power to strong-arm changes in these privately owned businesses regarding content he specifically had shown his distaste and hatred towards previously. All clearly telegraphed before hand, many years ago.

Don't for for Russ Vought's shills trying to do anything in their power to deflect from the fact, he is the one in charge of Visa and Mastercard and they are trying to crack down on porn and video games by attacking American companies now under his direction.
He has the motive, means and opportunity to do all this.

I'm glad the robot enemies didn't stick around long enough to get annoying and keeping the human mercenaries around added some variety (but fuck the specials immune to headshots).

The fact that the story was all interconnected surprised me. I had completely forgotten that the gangs had harvested brains until it suddenly came back in the lab level. It's the first time in years a game plot managed to surprise me. Usually the narratives in modern games are incapable of being anything but completely opaque and having you guess every part far ahead of it happening.
Anonymous No.717974838 >>717975294
The chapters in Detroit and the police station are trying to use elements of immersive sims without the payoff of those games(meaningful city exploration/interaction and dialogue determining future outcomes.) Open world design and talking to NPCs just for the sake of it is really bad, feels like it's wasting the player's time. You could cut all that out and it would be a better game, disperse the world building elements and NPC interaction in the actual levels like it already does early on. There's a reason so many players drop the game midway and it isn't because skill issues, getting filtered, etc. You're literally fighting against the game to keep plowing through it and get to the actual fun parts.

It's because I'm practically a boomer and I don't really play this game, I just start it up and walk around while drinking a few beers, marveling at the scenery and remembering the "good" old times.

The game is easy enough that I usually make a little progress, too. I also felt like the game was clearly made with genuine passion and I wanted to support that monetarily.
