Its recently i found out Ceaser dosent notice when you active the bunker and just assumes you destroyed it. That kinda killed it for me since i always assumed that he would know, so i always fought my way out after activating the bunker.

As much as I disliked him playing New Vegas made me think his plan had the most potential. Legion would just be the dark ages again and the NCR was already falling to internal conflicts/corruption.

I still don't understand how Caesar's Legion are a threat to anyone when they eschew technology and mainly use primitive weapons

House was so obvious as a choice despite all the emotional quibbling of other characters that they force you to nuke a faction and lose access to a cool bunker just to incentive you to pick someone else, but Caesar questline is full retard and it's obviously someone chopped up the original writing for it and replaced half of it with stupid bullshit because muh fascism or whatever. If they were going to go for the scripting clusterfuck anyways they really should have added a Benny questline and a proper Freeside takeover questline

It lasted around a century at that point; by far the oldest faction, besides the Brotherhood. There is no evidence that the others would last even that long. At worst, the NCR would fragment into smaller factions that probably retain its democratic core. House is a Frankenstein abomination that may go insane due to his extremely decrepit body reaching its limit, and the Legion without Ceasar are just well-trained raiders.

The bunker should have just meant you have to pass through Caesar's camp and interact with him on the way, and not had Caesar knowing or caring about the chip. Now that I think about it, Caesar knowing about the Platinum chip is a minor plot hole, because only Benny, Yes Man and House should know about it, unless the Legion are able to decrypt Houses messages for some reason, something benny could do with a captured Securitron.
