dva is good but not great in HOTS right now. historically she has been one of the most common meta picks and right now despite what seems like massive nerfs it is still true that she is picked 'only' slightly more often than the average hero with a slightly above-50% winrate.

If you have a favorite character in Overwatch and want to play just them it's torture
You're supposed to swap and adapt to situation, it's by design, even if you're really good and try to force your pick you'll just have situations in which you aren't having fun at all
And with tank it's probably the most obvious of all because they all have such clearly defined strengths and weaknesses
