Australian bankruptcy laws allow Karl to sell his ownership in the assets he jointly owns with his wife to her so that they can't be repossessed during bankruptcy, which he did. Billy can't touch Karl's house or channel to collect on the judgement since on paper Karl doesn't own them anymore. The transfer has to happen before the lawsuit. Anything seized and sold off by the trustee(ie: channel rights at market value) will be split to Billy + any other debt he owes. Karl is coping with "he won't see a single cent"
