What else would it be?
A hitman capable of precognition or time-travel planning the exact moment the racecar will pass by?
On top of god-like intellect to calculate the motion of a human body flying in the air from a natural looking explosion of barely predictable force?
I would tell that hitman to work for NASA, we would have a moonbase in the week.

I would barely pay attention to the meme about that bald man with a codebar tattoo appearing on social network, everyone pushing it must be some sort of engineered special agent.

To be fair, 99% of weapons don't care about being loud and that's why the enemy will have on hands.

Also your choice are kinda limited if you want a very precise, long range weapon that's also silent, easy to carry and don't require a lot of training.
Even taking down an enemy without him making noise would be a problem.

If I was an evil mastermind protecting my volcano base not secret but protected by geopolitical fuckery, I would have a dead man's switch on every single guard if not regular check.

I'm wondering why that's not already a thing, but probably considered too much effort for no needs since regular check will do just fine.

I know youโ€™re talking about Hitman, but honestly, stranger things have happened. There are people out there who have died in bizarre, inexplicable ways that have one in a million odds of happening.

The more unrealistic thing is that as of the more recent games, 47 uses the same alias each time and yet no one makes the connection that someone high profile ends up dying whereever his name pops up.

True, but across WoA, he checks into hotels and resorts under the name โ€œTobias Rieperโ€ too. And that name ONLY seems to pop up in locations and dates where a high profile individual nearby dies in mysterious circumstances.

Even basement dwelling autists online would start seeing the connection if they dug into it. In fact, itโ€™s implied that the Hitman universe equivalent of /pol/ actually has conspiracy theories where they suspect that each of the targets were whacked.

My theory is that 47 just intuitively knows whatโ€™s going on in all corner of the map at all times on top of the fact that he has Diana helping out with intel gathering in advance. Itโ€™s more or less canon that 47 has Jedi-esque precognition.

Now this is retardation.
There's like a single way you could kill someone with like 90% quietness. They will almost always be able to at least gurgle out some level of sound. The only hope is severing the vertebra and hoping that it's an instant kill and they don't get to scream, but it's such a lucky shot to get that.

Because you've been fooled by years of ghost rankings and european extremes into thinking that never getting caught or noticed is the pinnacle of stealth. In reality, re-hiding and infiltrating after getting caught and enemies are suspicious is a much higher feat of being shneaky, and loud weapons play into that.

47 could defeat any fictional character who doesnโ€™t have superpowers, and even then, heโ€™d give the superpowered ones a run for their money. In terms of vidya protagonists, I think Corvo from Dishonored is one of the few people who could beat him.

If he just uses it with Dalia, then there's no trace. Even with all the others, that's just a drop in the bucket. And while 47 is the best, there are still a ton of assassins roaming high society in that world so I don't think it would be too conspicuous. At least not enough to ruin suspension of disbelief.

yeah I think my issue with RC is that it plays more like a puzzle game than a strategy game. Missions have clear and defined solutions that if you dont follow you will lose. And the missions are so long that losing the puzzle feels like shit unless you savescum. I've been told it gets better later on when the game stops handholding but I also have 10 hours in the game and its not gotten any better in that regard.

I'm bad at playing stealth games in a reasonable way.
I get obsessed with taking down every single npc, whole buildings get cleared out without anyone noticing.
