I don't think that's deliberate or anything, I think it's just hard to make good character designs. Yeah I don't like the new batch as much as the launch designs, but the launch designs were probably the best of any gacha I played.

She's the new best physical anomaly character. She's kinda weird though in that you don't build that much proficiency on her, since her max charge hold attack automatically procs assault. You just go crit and mastery, kinda like Miyabi.
