I'm about to play Marvel's Spider-Man 2
It's okay
Story is very mediocre, most KLH derivative storylines suck but this sucks the worst
I don't mind Harry doing a speedrun of Venom's history but the conclusion of 'oh... he's in a coma again... oh no' feels very low stakes, not to mention the vaguely Knull inspired shit feels like a worse done version of Web of Shadows
Miles sucks (as per usual)
civilian gameplay sucks
the web wings are too prevalent but I get what they were going for. should've mostly been used for downwards horizontal movement, reenable fall damage and make it so they're basically a safety stop for people who can't webswing at all, not with that Superman 64 rings shit
most of the new suits are whatever. I LOVE the very Mike Zeck comics black suit with the Ultimate and TAS colour schemes but all the original designs suck and very few good comic designs were added in
lack of NG+ until like months after release sucks, no base replays or whatever sucks, game also clearly needed DLC but it just never got it
It's a 6/10 game that SHOULD'VE been a 10/10 given how much of a slam dunk the first game was, but Insomniac lost something in the 5 years in between
