not for the usual meme reasons, but because I upgraded motherboard and CPU (intel->AMD) without reinstalling windows and I'm afraid the keys or whatever the mechanism is wont match what windows has saved and will just brick if I enable it.
from my 10 mins of googling apparently this is a rare concern but not unfounded.
