I didn't know anything about karl Jobst before the Billy Mitchell decision, but I figured he was just some youtuber and researcher exposing scams in gaming, and thus was at least intelligent enough for that. But the entire trial exposed how shady and stupid he was, but thinking he's always right. This is just further proof of how stupid he is.

I just don't know why people care what these e-celebs have to say. They rarely have an education in what they are talking about. They are terminally online with all the deranged delusions of self importance that come with it.
Even worse, there are people with actual jobs that explain shit pretty well. However, these people (for good reasons) don't have the time to upload daily.
Not to mention that they have a professional reputation on the line.

We just follow some best practices and hope everything works out in the end. That's even why it's one of these professions people feel most alienated when performing.

I was talking more about the practical side.
In theory it's simple: the imported product pays the X% tariff when entering your territory, usually based on its transactional value or the volume/quantity imported.
But in practice there's a lot of stuff and norms involving imports and imports, lots of forms and other expenses, Trump generically signing an executive order regarding tariffs has much more severe implications than it seems at surface.
It's hard to estimate right now how things are going to change in practical and operational costs. Let alone their macroeconomic consequences in the long run.
